Thanks for this link. I love vintage stuff and knitting...and this site perfectly combines the two :) :) :) I might just make one of these patterns next time :) Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)
Hello! This post is great! I am also a 20 y.o. homeschool graduate and I love the 1940s - and I knit! Thanks for sharing. I had not come across your blog before but found you through Feelin' Feminine. I'm going to link to you if you don't mind and use this post in my new list of crafts to do!
Very cool stuff! I remember these magazines and knitting patterns from my Mother. She knitted in the 40s as a young wife. I was searching for a pattern including "Soli Deo Gloria" in a knitted pattern, and hit on your site because of the combination of knitting, and your "about me". Great! Glad to see someone appreciating the beauty of the past.
Hi! Do leave a comment for I love to hear from my readers. But please, no spam. And if you use the Anonymous setting please use your name, or internet nickname. Thank you! In Christ, ~Ashley
I search the internet for free resources on sewing, cooking, manners, etc and post them here for all to enjoy! To access the resources just click on the picture in each post {unless noted}. Once and awhile, I'll also post things from my own personal collection.
Thanks for these links - I love vintage knitting patterns.
