Cocoa Continental
4 servings
Blend in saucepan:
2 tablespoons of cocoa
3 tablespoons of sugar
1/8 teaspoon of salt
Then stir in 1/2 cup of hot water.
Bring to boil over low heat and boil 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
Then add and heat, but do not boil:
2 cups of milk.
Drop a marshmallow into each cup and pour hot cocoa over it.
Ymmmm. . .homemade hot cocoa sounds delightful. I just had a steaming mug of it and it was "just the thing" on this frosty cold morning. Only mine was from a store bought packet, I'll have to try this recipe sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is an interesting way to make it - perhaps I shall have to try it! :)
